PHOTON UX CORNER : A FUNFILLED COLLABORATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING PLATFORM

WHAT IS UX CORNER

UX Corner has been conceived to inculcate and naturally grow the design sensibility into the Photon culture. The initiative helps in understanding the importance of design, design processes and different methods of problem solving. It aims at inseminating design and its creative processes into the mainstream operational channels of Photon, making Photon a truly design-focused organisation.

UPCOMING

UX CORNER ON

26 AUGUST 2015

UPCOMING UX CORNER WORKSHOP : 26 AUGUST 2015

FOOD FOR THOUGHT : The times of explaining about UX and its significance has passed. Now is the high time to understand the intricacies of implementing the ux process to real world problems and redefine the process itself. In the mobile world, understanding the needs and the context of usage has become extremely important.

We would love to have you on the forthcoming activity-based workshop on solving a similar problem for mobile world on 26 August 2015. See you there!

LAST UX CORNER EVENT : Human Computer Interaction in Mac vs Windows (24 JUNE 2015)

The event focused on discussion about usability and ease in performing everyday tasks on Mac, iOS and Windows platforms. Workshop observed an enthusiastic group of participants who actively participated in the activities and the discussion.

Fun
To connect this topic with an instance, everyone was asked to send an SMS to a number using their mobile phones. This provided a chance to engage into the workshop and get involved.
Similarly there were more fun moments which were captured during the lively workshop.

Collaboration
There was a good mix of participants from different teams such as Developers, Designers and DB Designers. Everyone participated in different teams and presented their excellent team-player attributes in presenting their ideas.

Learning
As all the activities were cleverly connected with a design fact related to expected user behaviour and the platform standards, the activities naturally followed discussions on the respective principles. This ensured a continued learning about design and its usage in everyday things.
